National Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week, held annually in early-mid September, gives Greystone Programs and our entire community an opportunity to honor the direct support professionals (DSP) workforce and the tremendous difference they make each day in the lives of millions of Americans with disabilities.
There are more than 75,000 DSPs in New York State who tirelessly dedicate themselves to helping more than 140,000 people with developmental disabilities to thrive in the community.
At Greystone, each year during this special week, we honor our DSPs with gifts, a picnic, private boat cruise or other fun event.
