For 35 incredible years, Olive has been a cornerstone of the Greystone family, embodying the compassion and dedication that define our mission to enrich lives. Her journey with us began in 1989, just three years after she arrived in America from Jamaica. Since then, Olive has poured her heart into caring for the individuals we serve and building lasting connections with staff and the community.
“Greystone is like a second family to me,” Olive shared. “I enjoy my time here, working with the staff and the individuals I care for. Saying goodbye feels like leaving a family member.”
Olive’s advice for anyone considering a career as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) reflects her philosophy of care:
“Think about the people who will benefit from your support. Love and enjoy what you do; without that, what is the point?”
